Hi. My name is Sweet Melissa. I am so happy that you stopped by. I am an Artisan Soap Maker. I proudly use old-world techniques and the help of Mother Nature to handcraft showpiece luxurious soaps for people who want to find their zen and love their skin.

 

The ingredients in our soaps (like olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, almond oil and castor oil), are detergent free, and will not dry your skin out like most synthetic soap found in retail stores can.

 

Yes, that's right, most of what you buy in retail stores is not really soap; it is synthetic detergent instead. You see, World War 1 caused a soap shortage, so scientists developed an alternative, (detergents), which eventually everyone just called soap. Sodium lauroyl isethionate and sodium lauryl sulfate are good examples of a detergent, that you will never find in our soaps! If we cannot pronounce the name of the ingredient, then we do not use it!
